MIP installation help

MIP is now supplied inside a Windows based installer which makes installation simple. If you choose to install MIP manually, then notes on how to perform a basic installation of MIP are provided here.

MIP support for NonStop models

If your license is for an explicit model of NonStop server then you must run a version of MIP which supports that model of server. You can check what version of mip you had using the vproc command, or, if TOP is running, by looking at the node list in TOP. Support is as follows:

MIP version NonStop Models
3.13 onwards S76000, S86000 and earlier models
3.16 onwards S76, S760, S7600 and earlier models
3.21 onwards S7800 and earlier models
3.22 onwards S78000, S88000 and earlier models
3.26 onwards NS16000 and earlier models
3.29 onwards NS14000, NS5000T, NS1000 and earlier models
3.34 onwards S7800B, S86100, NS16200 and earlier models
3.35 onwards NS1200, NS14200, NS5000, NS3000 and earlier models
